I needed to pick up a prescription for my grandmother on Saturday at CVS, so was able to take advantage of another money making deal for my
$25 CVS Gift Card Challenge. Colgate Optic White was $3.99 get $2.50 back in extra bucks with a limit of two. I received a $2/2 Colgate scanner coupon earlier in the week, had a $1/1 printable I printed earlier when it was available and printed another $.75/1 currently available at Colgate.com (thanks to
Clip With Purpose for mentioning combining these deals/coupons, I hadn't realized it made it free!).
Cash Paid: $ .23 [plus .40 tax]
Amount Saved: $ 8.95 or 97%
Extra Bucks Used: $ 4.00
Extra Bucks Received: $ 5.00
This is shopping trip #2 in my CVS gift card challenge. See the spread sheet below for my current totals. As you can see I've once again increased the amount I have to spend at CVS by combining coupons and extra bucks. My $25 gift card has grown to $34.47 in CVS spending ability and I have purchased $37.67 worth of products.
