CVS Deal Shopping Trip for 8/16/15 Ad ~ Saved 78% or $17.77

I just got the Propel Water this week, so thought I'd share my mom's trip instead.  The dollar is from a refund for a coupon I forgot to use-love my CVS clerks!  It was done in two transactions-one for personal and one to put in shoeboxes to donate to Operation Christmas Child.  Details below.



Transaction #1:

Cash Paid:  $2.24

Amount Saved:  $13.09  or 85%

Extra Bucks Used:  $5.00

Extra Bucks Received:
  • $1.00 Just the Basics Laundry Detergent
  • $1.25 Propel
  • $1.00 Dial Soap

Transaction #2:

Cash Paid:  $2.57 (after receiving the $1.00 back for the coupon)

Amount Saved:  $4.68  or 65%

Extra Bucks Used:  $.00

Extra Bucks Received: $1.00 Pencils (hope to spend this on summer clearance items for shoeboxes next week, hopefully some will be 75% off)


TOTAL for the Day:

Cash Paid:  $4.81

Amount Saved:  $17.77  or 78%

Extra Bucks Used:  $5.00

Extra Bucks Received: $4.25
