50 Cent CVS Deal Shopping Trip for 5/3/15 Ad ~ Saved $25 or 98%

I had some extra bucks that were about to expire and needed to be spent even though I didn't see any CVS deals that I was thrilled about this week.    I was happy to pick up some Hallmark cards though, as I love to send snail mail (as you can see by my other blog Sarah's Scribblings) and CVS keeps my stock of cards pretty full.  If you buy cards, be sure you get your ECB, it only counted one of mine (although all 3 were $1.99 or above), but the clerk happily forced it to print for me as I had bought 3.  I was hoping the Nivea would work for this week's buy 2 get $5 ECBs, but it didn't.

My 30% off with free bag coupon did not work on the CVS toothbrush I purchased even tho there was a sign beside it.  The clerk decided the easiest way to remedy it was to give me a $1 extra buck.

Cash Paid:  $ .50

Amount Saved:  $ 25.39  or 98%

Extra Bucks Used:  $ 15.00

Extra Bucks Received:  $10.00
  • $ 6.00 Crest Deal
  • $ 3.00 Hallmark
  • $ 1.00 to replace 30% coupon that didn't work

If you want more details on these or the other deals this week, be sure check out the posts on this week's deals.

The Nivea counts towards CVS Beauty Club (spend $50 get $5 ECB).

The toothbrushe will be packed in an Operation Christmas Child shoe box gifts next Christmas.  We shop all year long to help us be able to pack dozens of boxes for kids in need.

This is very impressive. These items all cost so much, if you do not use coupons.
