My CVS Shopping Trip for the Week of 5/25/14 ~ Share Your Trip with Us (Link Up)

Saved 100% on CVS Deals Shopping Trip
My CVS deals were a little harder to get today because the scanner was not working and some extra bucks were not printing because a system problem, but we have a great CVS staff and they made everything work wonderfully.  My mom drinks Ginger Ale each day and I was excited to be able to get a bottle for 69¢ with the scanner coupon--but it didn't print.  The cashier knew it should have and offered to reduce the price to 69¢ on one of the bottles.

I am loving the free oral rinses these past two weeks and the clearanced 24¢ bubble gum came in handy as a filler to use up my extra bucks.  It will
be passed on; it will probably be tucked into an envelope for a sailor currently deployed.

Here is my CVS shopping trip for the weekly ad of  May 25, 2014.  I did two transactions--they first one is highlighted in gray.  I did use up $2 in extra bucks (used $20 and earned $18--rolling $10 from the first transaction onto the second), but I can't complain when I saved 100% of my budget cash and came home with nearly $30 of items and I still have $13 in extra bucks for next week's CVS deals.

I used two of these printable coupons to get the free oral rinse:

$1.00 off ONE Crest ProHealth Rinse 1L or Larger

Once I was what I would call a "Committed CVS Shopper."  I spent the time to get dozens of deals each week worth hundreds of dollars for just pennies on the dollar.  But currently I can only handle being a "Carry Over CVS Shopper," using my extra bucks earned one week on the next week's deals.  But I still find ways to save big on necessities for my family.  You may enjoy reading the five CVS Shopper Personalities to see which you are or which you may want to become.

You can find all of this week's CVS deals, as well as next week's, listed in the tabs under the Simply CVS banner at the top of this page.  Including posts for $5 & $10 Scenarios and The Best Extra Buck Deals of the Week.
