My $0 Out of Pocket CVS Shopping Trip for the Week of 4/13/14 ~ Share Your Trip with Us (Link Up)

I seem to be in the routine of spending more extra bucks than I am earning each week on my CVS shopping trips.  This week it was because I was tempted by the Dove chocolate Easter eggs!  I used up $3 in extra bucks, but I still kept the cash in my budget.

I loved the opportunity to make a free photo book.  I have sewn over 100 dresses for little girls in crisis and I have had the privilege of seeing images of some of them after they received them.  I took 10 of the images and made my free book.  Here is one of my favorites from a distribution in Uganda last summer (I only sew the dress, I don't deliver them).  I designed this dress in honor of a friend...she asked for black and white and pink, classic but girly and to use ribbons.  I just love her smile.

You can check out my CVS Shopping List and see how I did compared to what I had planned.

Be sure to share your shopping trip below.

What I bought:

What I paid:

I did two transactions since I only had $10 in extra bucks.  I rolled the $2 extra buck from the first transaction onto the second transaction.  I color coded them below.

At one time I was what I would call a "Committed CVS Shopper."  I spent time so I could get dozens of deals each week worth hundreds of dollars for just pennies on the dollar.  But times change and currently with my limited time I can only handle being a "Carry Over CVS Shopper," using my extra bucks earned one week on the next week's deals.  But I still find ways to save big on necessities for my family.  You may enjoy reading the five CVS Shopper Personalities and see which you are or which you may want to become.

You can find all of this week's deals, as well as next week's, listed in the tabs under the Simply CVS banner at the top of this page.  Including posts for $5 & $10 Scenarios and The Best Extra Buck Deals of the Week.

Share your weekly shopping trips below or on our Simply CVS Facebook Page,  or check out what others are buying.

If you blog about your shopping trip I'd love for you to put a link to your post (a link back would be appreciated, but is not necessary); and if you don't blog please leave a comment below letting us know what you got.  I really enjoy seeing what others get and it is a great way for new shoppers to learn how to CVS.

PLEASE NOTE:  ONLY link up to your CVS shopping trip post directly, all others will be removed.  I have had readers mention too many links are not to CVS shopping trip posts.  Thank you.
