CVS Shopping for Charity Chest Week of 4/6/2014

This week shopping at CVS I was able to pick up two FREE Right Guard deodorants for my Charity Chest.  The last ones I had in stock I sent to Kristy at Hopeful Threads for her 2014 first quarter project, along with several other CVS deal items.

She was collecting tote bags and personal items to fill them with to give to children in foster care when they are first placed in a they have something of their very own.  It is such a joy to be able to give to others with just a little work on my part.

Happy CVSing & Giving! ~ Cheryl

About my Charity Chest:  One of my favorite things about deal shopping is having more to share with others.  Not only can I get great things with coupons and CVS extra bucks, but by saving on my own budget I have more cash to share, too.  So whenever I can get a fantastic deal on an item that my family does not need I pick it up and tuck it away in my Charity Chest until I find someone who needs it.   Another way I have more to give is by earning free CVS gift cards thru Swagbucks.  I have been able to give thru local charities and my own church as well as thru national ministries like Operation Christmas Child.

I really love the idea, but I want to share with you my experience I have lot of friends the most of them are single moms job less young boy from my church and you can't imagine how happy they are when I call them to my house to share a cup a coffee plus some little things there I can find the most of the time at really cheap prices. But we can make this world a better place.

Such a personal touch is wonderful, Anonymous. The joy we have of sharing outweighs their joy of receiving. Thanks for sharing with us.

Can't wait to see the pictures on Hopeful Threads, Kristy! And hear the final count of how many bags you and your readers were able to provide! Hoping the 500 stuffed animals goal is reached, too, to comfort the little ones.
