Share Your CVS Shopping Trip for the Weekly Ad of 3/17/2013

Did you pick up any good deals from the CVS Weekly Ad of 3/17?  We'd love to hear about your shopping trip.

If you blog about your shopping trip I'd love for you to put a link to your post (a link back would be appreciated, but is not necessary); and if you don't blog please leave a comment below letting us know what you got.  I really enjoy seeing what others get and it is a great way for new shoppers to learn how to CVS.  I learned from reading and reading and reading what others did. I am still learning!

If you have a shopping linky in your blog post and are linking up here, add "link up" to your title below so readers can link up at your blog, too.
PLEASE NOTE:  ONLY link up to your CVS shopping post directly, all others will be removed.  I have had readers mention too many links are not to CVS shopping posts.

8 bags of Whoppers Robins Eggs $16
1 Paas egg coloring kit $1.99
2 mini bags of jelly beans (Starburst and Lifesavers) 66c ea

Used 4 $3/2 Whoppers scanner Qs
    $5 ECB
    Paid ~$2.50 OOP
Got back $5 Easter candy, $1.99 Paas

I can't believe I got paid $1 to take 8 bags of Whoppers! It was hard to explain to BF why I "had" to get 8 bags to make the deal "work" and turn it into a "money maker"--only other couponers can understand the insanity of some of these deals! :)

These Whoppers along with the free Gold Emblem jelly beans from the previous weeks plus the cheap peanut M&Ms deal a few weeks back means I've got waaaay more than enough for Easter baskets! :) I love CVS!

Side note--even after couponing for 2 years, I still get a huge rush walking out of the store with my giant bag of free/cheap/money maker goodies. I still get all giddy inside!

The old saying "it takes one to know one" fits couponers--it takes one who knows deals to understand a deal! It is so crazy to have to buy more to spend less. Thanks for sharing your great trip and your couponing experience with us!
