Earn Free CVS Gift Cards thru MyPoints (& Swagbucks)

MyPointsI often share about earning free CVS gift cards thru Swagbucks
because that is my favorite place to earn, but I also use MyPoints.  MyPoints offers free CVS gift cards, as well as gift cards from dozens of other major retailers in exchange for online activities such as shopping, reading emails, taking surveys, and more.  You can see a little more detail in my earlier post: An Introduction to MyPoints or sign up thru the banner above.

Hi Cheryl! Hope things are well with you. Just a question if I may even though a little off subject here. I already belong to Swagbucks (love it!) and am looking into MyPoints, but my question is about SavingStar. I see alot of people use it, but it looks like they gather alot of information about you when you sign up - I was just wondering if you get tons of "junk" emails, unsolicited emails after signing up? Also, can you also use MQ for the same product as you "like"/"want" on SavingStar?
Thanks Cheryl. Miss your big posts here on Simply CVS - again, I hope things are going well with you and your family.

Hi, Tammy! The only emails I get from SavingStar are announcing new coupons. Yes, you can use manufacturer paper coupons for the same item. Things are going pretty well, I miss being able to really keep up here, but I am trying to bring what people have shown to be the most useful posts in the time I have. Thanks for asking :-).

Okay, thank you so much Cheryl for taking the time to respond so quickly. Now that I hear it from you, my couponing "mentor" (!) I'm not worried about it anymore. I get enough "junk" mail, I certainly don't want or need anymore but I thought Saving Star looked like a good thing! I'm glad you can use paper Q's with it as well. Thank you again...

Sorry, one more question I thought of after looking quickly at the site again....do you typically "want" all the Q's that you might use & then if you don't use them it's okay, as opposed to not "wanting" them and then end up possibly buying the product? It just seems like the more you "want" the better but is there a limit or anything? Thanks again!

Tammy, I always "want" any that I think I may use so I mostly "deal" shop I am not sure when I will be buying what. As far as I know there is no limit at all. I would stop in once a week and check for new ones and then I don't have to check before I shop. Hope it works well for you--and never worry about questions, I love to teach and share what I know.

P.S. I'm more excited about this now because before they only had CVS as the store I use the most and now I noticed that they have added my local grocery store! Going to give it a try; the more savings the better these days! :)
