Possible CVS Scanner Coupons Week of 6/24: Free Trial Size Hair Care & $5/$20 Purchase

I have seen reports of a few major cities advertising a $5/$20 CVS scanner coupon to print between 6/24 and 6/26.  I went to my little country CVS today and both Sarah & I received this coupon. So you may want to try.

Also, we both got $2/1 any shampoo, conditioner or styler scanner coupon.  It did not say excludes trial and there are a LOT to choose from.  Perfect for Sarah's upcoming trip home to Ohio!

So I think it is possible that all cards will get both of these, but I can't guarantee it.

I got the $2 off shampoo coupon and bought suave since it was $1.99 economy size.

Great idea! I didn't have time to check the other products and since we needed travel size we just grabbed those. Thanks for this info!

I got the $2 shampoo coupon and have a ? for you. I was already planning to buy the Herbal Essence that's on sale and part of the gas card deal. Can I use a $1 manu coupon and a $2 off Herbal Essence magic scanner coupon AND the $2 shampoo magic scanner coupon?

I also got a $3 off $10 cosmetics coupon, but no $5/$20 coupon. It's been over a year since I've gotten a $/$$ coupon. :(

No, the shampoo one or the Herbal Essence one would have to be used if buying just one bottle. One CVS and one Manu. per product. I never get the $/$$'s but got this one.

If I'm buying one at reg price and a second at 50% can I use all three? Thanks for the help!

Yes, if you are buying two products you certainly can. Sorry I wasn't familiar with the deal. I haven't been on top of everything lately.

I did a similar deal today with garnier hairspray. I used 1manu, 1 garnier cvs coupon, and the shampoo/conditioner/style product cvs coupon. They accepted all of the coupons. Hope this helps!

I'd save those coupons for the three day sale. With the $3/2 Pantene that same in the 6/24 SS You can get free Pantene and make headway towards the gas card

Anon, I think these are ones with short expire dates, but I can't remember for sure. Be sure and check the date before saving them.

I am using the $2 hair coupons on clearance Aussie products that is part of the gas card deal this week. I got two conditioners that were $1.99 each. I used 2 $2 CVS Qs and one $1/2 MQ which gave me $1.02 overage towards my other items.

I have a new CVS two blocks from me so I have scanned my card each day and have gotten that one each day and the $1 Hershey's Simple Pleasures which works for the trial size that are $.67.

Gotta love those crazy combo deals, Shannon! Those Simple Pleasures are a fun deal, too, and they are good.

FYI, CVS in my city, Albuquerque, NM, takes ALL expired CVS scanner coupons...even if they expired one year ago. This isnt just one store, this is ALL stores!! I have about 4 of them that I visit and they all take them!! I have a separate CVS scanner coupon pouch! Doesnt hurt to ask your store if they do the same!!

Wow, you can sure get a lot more deals with expired qs. Mine does not and I have read of most that have changed to not taking them since they made the coupon policy written. And you are right, you SHOULD ask your own local store to be sure. CVS aims to please. I asked at my store again recently and the manager said they have been told not to take them and there have been some employees in our district that have been fired over coupon mis-use so our store is super careful and strict.

Cheryl, I finally did the deal we discussed above today, and it worked perfectly. $2.08 for two gels and $6.58 toward the gas card AND I got another $2 shampoo coupon today. Guess I'll do a similar deal again. Thanking God for couponing and for you!

I forgot to ask another question. Can I use 2 $3/$10 cosmetics coupons if I purchasing $20+ in cosmetics?

Great to hear, Amy. Yes, you are supposed to be able to use both in one transaction if purchasing a total of $20. Once in a while a cashier will deny this use, but not very often.
