Share Your CVS Shopping Trip for the Weekly Ad of 5/13/2012

Simply CVS Gift Card ChallengeDid you find any good deals  from the CVS Weekly Ad of 5/13 to purchase?  I haven't even had time to check on the deals for the week.  One evening the beginning of last week, we had Mom in the ER for 7 hours and she has needed round the clock care for the last several days.  She is doing much better.  Hopefully I can score some deals tomorrow.  What did you all get?

If you blog about your shopping trip I'd love for you to put a link to your post (a link back would be appreciated, but is not necessary); and if you don't blog please leave a comment below letting us know what you got.  I really enjoy seeing what others get and it is a great way for new shoppers to learn how to CVS.  I learned from reading and reading and reading what others did. I am still learning!

If you have a shopping linky in your blog post and are linking up here, add "link up" to your title below so readers can link up at your blog, too.
PLEASE NOTE:  ONLY link up to your CVS shopping post directly, all others will be removed.  I have had readers mention too many links are not to CVS shopping posts.

    2 Pantene Mousse
    2 Pantene Hair spray
    Total B4 tax and Q's: $13.96
    Used:
    two B1G1 MQ's, $6.96
    one $3/2 MQ $
    $3.00 ECB
    subtotal: $0.98
    tax :$0.84
    total cash $1.82
    Received $2.00 ECB
I wasn't really sure if I could combined the three MQ's so I asked a supervisor. She said it was OK. I was expecting only $1.00 ECB since the tag said limit 1. Such a deal!

    Fantastic trip, Deal Seeker!

Christina, much of that will go towards your beauty club extra buck, too. I am always surprised when I plan a small trip and it becomes a big one. Great on the $4/20!

You're right! And I'm only $8ish dollars away. It was weird and didn't update for a while. Seems to be back on pace now. Working out a deal right now for some ROC products (don't really use them, but would make a great gift).

Not sure yet on pricing, but based on the website $$ I could get

    (2) ROC products $21.99 ea
    =$43.98
    -$20 ECB
    =$23.98
    -(2) $3 MFQ
    =$17.98
    -$3 CVS Q
    =$14.98

I'm holding out for % off coupon, another CVS $3 off or a $/$$ :) A 30% off (which I've been getting a lot of) would give me a $1.08 OOP!

I love getting gifts at CVS, Christina. Here's hoping for a 30% off for you!

Wonderful trip, Karen. And lots of goodies towards your beauty club reward.

Thanks! I was thinking that too but my receipt says beauty club offer.limit reached. I only got it once last year and it never reset. Oh well. Still love CVS! Thanks for all the great advice.

Karen, I didn't think we had to re-sign up, but I can't remember. Anyways, you can sign up your card at http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/promoContent/promoLandingTemplate.jsp?promoLandingId=1284&WT.mc_id=FH_010511_CVSHome_BeautyClub . That way you can start getting it again. Or call 800shopcvs and talk with them about it. They are great at helping and explaining.

    6 boxes of Finish tablets, 20ct- 2/$7
    Total $21
    Used two X 50c IP's
Paid with $11.75 ECB and $8.xx OOP
    Got back $10

This is the best deal on Finish I have seen in a while, I remember a similar one last summer, but my stockpile from that sale was almost all gone!

I had several 75c coupons from the inside of my Finish tablet boxes for the Finish Quantum, but those are only 10 per package! I have two Quantum packages at home from sales last year, and those are 12 ct... Sneaky of them to shrink the package!

I should be all set with clean dishes for a while now! :)

Tempted to go back to get Nutter Butters with the 3/$4 get $1 ECB deal... mmmm.

    Cheryl @ Simply Shoeboxes said...

Anon, nice trip--looks like what I am planning to do. Enjoy the Nutter Butters if you return for some :-).

i have 2Q for $1 softsoap - one from the CVS red machine and one from my email account - the codes match - will i be able to use them both if i buy 2 pkg of softsoap?

    Cheryl @ Simply Shoeboxes said...

Hmmm, I am not sure. Sometimes the same exact q will be in your account online and print at the scanner, but I have never seen a duplicate thru an email and on the scanner so I am not sure. I personally would try since they are from two different sources. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Can someone explain how will the BOGO deal with the Ocean Spray Juice will work? they will be on sale BOGO and there is a coupon BOGO "making them both free" I do not get this part :( don't I have to pay for one?

    Thanks

    Cheryl @ Simply Shoeboxes said...

No, you will not have to pay for one. CVS sale will give you one free and the coupon will give you one free.
