CVS Ad Scan Preview for the Week of 3/25/2012

Here is the CVS ad scan preview for the week of March 25, 2012.  I will be putting up coupon match-ups for the deals before that week.  Meanwhile, you can see if there are any coupons you'd like to print for items on sale at RedPlumSmartSource, Coupon Network or Coupons.  Remember, you can almost always print two of each coupon.

Edited 3/20--this is a little better.
NOTE:  I am not sure what I did to make these look so "grainy" but I have been sick in bed a few days and wanted to get it up, but don't have the energy to try to do it all over.  Maybe if I get to feeling better and have the time I'll try to re-post it.

If you'd like to find other coupons for CVS sale items I do not do each week, check out these instructions on where to find them.

Thanks for the new ad! I really appreciate being able to plan my shopping out well in advance. I have an off-topic question...I was checking my ECB balances today and noticed that my balances had been wiped out. I'm assuming Winter Spending totals are being calculated? In any case I'm really close to my $5/$50 Beauty Club Bucks and was wondering if the Seasonal totals effect that at all? Will my Beauty Club balance go back to zero too? Thanks in advance, I hope I explained my question right!

No, your beauty club balance will not zero out quarterly. But yes, the Winter spending ended the 15th.

The colgate 360 toothbrush will be free with the $1.00/1 coupon. exp. 03/31/12. And print your coupons now for GLADE because it will be a good deal! i have 2 young children so dirty diapers are always a smell issue. i started using the sence and spray and fell in love with it!!

I noticed that mine was zero'd out at the start of the year - I thought they must start over with each calendar year.

I am new to couponing so I wanted to ask about the ECBs. I noticed the Mars Easter Egg / Bunny Single is 2/$1 plus a $1 ECB (making it free). I can't make out the small print below that image. I was wondering if that is a one time thing? Or once per day? Would I get another ECB if I purchased more than the 2 candies in one day?

Nicole, each ECB deal has its own limit--usually one or two. That one happens to be limit two. Which means two extra buck deals for the full week for each card.

Can anyone explain the % off coupons to me. I've had different experiences with them. When scanning the 25% coupon it has taken the percentage off and then I could use extra care bucks for the remainder. This has been for low priced items (less than $5). However for more expensive items I scanned the % off coupon first then used EC bucks and it reversed everything...taking the EC bucks off first and then giving me the percent off the remainder (resulting it a higher total than I planned). This has happened multiple times. At the bottom of the coupon it does say it will take all CVS coupons first but then why hasn't it done this for the lower priced items. Confused!!

Jessica, never have I used one of those and been able to figure out what it took off for--unless it is the only thing I bought and used no coupons or extra bucks, then it seemed to make sense. I know that extra bucks that are from CVS products or the quarterly ones or ones that are printed manually by the cashier reduce the amount of tax on the order--they are treated as a price reduction--so maybe those ones reduce the % off, too, and the other ones that are treated like manufacturer coupons do not. But I really can't say.
