CVS Test Market Ad 3/4 page 1. |
There are two ads this week and you can see them both below. The first one pictured is a "test ad", and yes, it is ONLY two pages and there is only ONE extra buck deal. It is being reported for the following states: AL, GA, MS, NM, NY, PA, CT, and MA. And apparently the rest of us will get the regular ad. A few years back they did test markets--different ones for like a six week period over the summer months. So this type of ad may become available in the future in different states.

Thanks to Didie at We Use Coupons for posting the CVS ad scan. Simply CVS is part of the grocery gathering at BeCentsAble.

So does that mean for those of us in the test market, we won't be have the regular ad's deal?
Stacey, when they did this a few years back that is how it worked. You only had the deals in your test market.
To clarify: the deals in your test market ad.
That's terrible! CVS will get a call from me if there is only 1 ECB deal.
From what I have been reading online and from what Corporate is telling people .. the test ad stores will have the same deals, but they are technically unadvertised. So, you have to work a little harder to find them in store. But, with online ads being posted, it really isn't that hard.
@Coupon Frenzy, I really really hope you are right because I am in Alabama and if that ad is all we get, it sucks and I won't have a reason to be at CVS:(
I will be calling also. I am not happy with this flyer.
I don't think either of these are the ads for PA, because PA doesn't sell beer in drug stores...
K Mauser, our CVS's do not sell the beer either, but everything else is the same. Each regional ad will be a just a bit different each week--usually with things like alcohol, milk & soft drinks, but the major deals are almost always the same.
No beer?! Blasphamey! :-p
I am in Alabama also and will be calling. A huge part of CVS's business comes from couponers and deal-finders, I don't understand why they would do this? What is their benefit? It is really frustrating.
I spoke with someone at my store yesterday (I live in GA) that they will be running two 3 day sales next week.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Might be a good week to save those rollover ecb for the future!
