Send Your CVS Extra Bucks to Your Extra Care Card Now an Option

CVS now has given us the option to send our extra bucks to our extra care cards.  From their website:  "With the Send to Card digital savings option, you can send your ExtraBucks Rewards straight to your card. Just sign in, visit the ExtraCare page and choose Send to Card. Your rewards will be automatically redeemed the next time you use your card to check out."

I have read of reports that they do not automatically come off, you need to tell the cashier if you want to use them or not.  And of course of problems that the cashier chose to take them off when they were not wanted to be used and did not take them off when they were wanted to be used.  Also of one shopper who lost extra bucks because she only needed $2 applied and the cashier hit apply all which was $4.50--so $2.50 lost.

Personally I am "old fashioned" and love that piece of paper in my hand.  But if you want to try it you can check it out here:  New! Send your extra bucks to your card.

I did this; the cashier asked me if I wanted to use them or not. He asked the same way as when they ask if you want to use a 5$/$25, etc. I liked it! I have enough to juggle with coupons and whatnot...

I did this and when I wanted it applied the cashier forgot to do so and I didn't notice as well because I had ecbs on hand and gave it when i looked at the total. then i had to come up with another shopping list that i can use the $5/$25 good thing it was still a great deal.

Well, I sent mine to my card. And, as I usually do, I go to the scanner machine before I shop. My ECBs printed out with the other CVS coupons.
