CVS Ad Scan Preview for the Week of 12/26/2011

Here is the CVS ad scan preview for the week of December 26, 2011.  It is only four pages long.  The images I found were cut off in spots so they shared two images of each page which I have included.  Perhaps there will also be some great after Christmas clearance for us.

I will be putting up coupon match-ups for the deals before that week.  Meanwhile, you can see if there are any coupons you'd like to print for items on sale at RedPlumSmartSource, Coupon Network or Coupons.  Remember, you can almost always print two of each coupon.

Thanks to Didie at We Use Coupons for the CVS ad scan.  Simply CVS is part of the grocery gathering at BeCentsAble.

If you'd like to find other coupons for CVS sale items I do not do each week, check out these instructions on where to find them

There is a Theraflu rebate that can be used when someone buys one item. The rebate is actually a $5 GC to a pharmacy store, and CVS is on the list!

K, is it a printable rebate form?

Whats the limit on the Zyrtec and Theraflu for next week?

I have a question,I have a "$2 off any Photo Processing purchase",I wanted to use it next week, but does this coupon work towards instant digital prints?I also want to use it along with the free beauty of essence lotion coupon, zyrtec money maker deal, and the theraflu, that way I can use a 5off30 cvs coupon I have..Is that possible? My main concern is the photo process purchase and whether i can add that in one transaction or are photo purchases separate? Thanks

Hello, Do you know if CVS keeps a running total for the total amount of money spent for purchases made to earn the $10 gift card? For instance, I spent $28 in one transaction, the next day I spent another $20, I received my $10 gift card but at the bottom of my receipt it showed $30 needed for my next gift card, instead of just $12.

Cheryl @ Simply Shoeboxes said...

Thanks, Tammy, will look at that.

Yes, you can use the photo processing on any photo order.

You can also check your photos out with your other items.

As to the $5/30 you should have no problem combining it with the $2 off photo since it is not $2/10 photo or some other "total" amount. Enjoy!

Adria, Yes it does. I noticed one week I did several that my receipt said the same thing. Then I checked out again--without buying anything for the gift card--and the total needed had update and showed the exact amount I still needed. Strange, but it worked fine when I got gift card things. And if you have any problem--have your receipts in hand and call 800shopcvs and go over it with them. They will help take care of it.

This was a tough week to get to CVS- we adopted a 9 week old puppy and both my husband and I got a nasty cold, so between taking turns to watch her and getting better, it was hectic. I only made it to CVS Sat. night and yesterday, this is what I got:

Trans. #1:
1 Excedrin @ $4.69
1 Excedrin @ $4.79
1 Excedrin @ $4.89
1 Excedrin @ $5.79
Total before Q's: $20.16

Coupons used:
1 $5/$20 CVS coupon= -$5
4 $2/1 Excedrin Manf. Q= -$8
Total Q's= -$13

Total-coupons= $20.16- $13= $7.16 + tax. Paid with $7 extra bucks and the rest with a Swagbucks gift card, and got $10 eb back:)

Trans. #2
2 Ricola @ 2/$3.00
1 Rimmel Nail polisn @ 1.07
3 Zhu zhu pets @ $1 ea= $3.00
2 Hershey's Kisses bags @ 2/$5.00
2 Coke Zero 2L= $0.99 ea= $1.98
1 Treseme shampoo on clearance= $1.99
1 Lumene cream (b1g175%off)= $3.79
1 Lumene cream (b1g175%off)= $0.94
Total before Q's= $20.77

Coupons used:
1 $5/$20 CVS email Q= -$5
2 $1/1 Ricola Facebook Q= -$2
1 $1/1 Rimmel product Manf. Q=-$1
1 $1/2 CVS Herhsey's Q (from home mailer)= -$1
1 $1/2 Hershey's Manf. Q= -$1
2 $0.99/1 Coke Q from Facebook=-$1.98
1 $1/1 Treseme prod. Manf. Q (came with a sample I requested)= -$1
2 $2/1 Lumene CVS Q from RIB Mag. = -$4
Total Q's = $16.98

Total - coupons= $20.77- $16.98= $3.79, which I paid with extra bucks, and got $3 extra bucks back ($1 from Ricola, $2 from Hershey's). **Note- the Coke coupon rang up as "not valid" but the cashier pushed it through, she was so nice to accept it this once but told me that it seemed counterfeit (the one printed from Facebook).

Trans. #3-
1 $50 American Express Gift Card
1 Activation fee of $5.95
Total: $55.95, got $10 extra bucks.

**I thought this was a great deal because I had planned to give one of my family members $50 cash for xmas, well with this, yes, I paid $5.95 activation fee but got back $10 eb, so really, it's like I made $4.05.

Ok, I am done this week. Happy shopping!

Wow, Martha, that's quite a shopping trip for such a busy week. Great job. Don't you love the Swagbucks GC's for paying OOP? Sounds like a lot of people had trouble with that Coke coupon. How great on your MM for the AE gift card!
