Thanks for the senerio. I've been looking for one that isn't for 10+ transactions. I do have 2 $5/$25 purchase coupons on my card so this would be great for me. And I have some EB already so my total out of pocket will be next to nothing and get tons more back! I'm so excited. I hope it all comes out planned!

Lacey, I have two also, so this is my plan. We will all have to tweak it some, I am sure, but this will help us get started. I'm going to print a copy of this for myself right now. Don't you love increasing your extra bucks? Then we can use them on the other great deals for gifts.

This is super helpful. Imagine getting all this and still having lot of ECB's. I forgot all about the $5/25 in the email. Between that and these postings, it will be a super CVS trip. Thank goodness I have about 6 in my area, so I should be able to get all that I need.

Wow, Dee, 6 CVS stores!! I have 3 within 17 miles. I have basically only been in two of them once in the last two years--I just keep going to my little one that's closest. My manager said they got a lot of stuff in, tho, so I hope they do have it all--at least the money makers :-).

I only have 1 close to me and they are NOT friendly. So I will be going to the one close to my moms which is not too far, but farther than I would go on a regular weekly trip. But at least we can do it together.
But I Just made my shopping senerio for that day. I will be doing 2 transactions using 2- $5/$25 cp that I have on my card and $14 EB I currently have.
I will spend .69 OOP plus tax and finishing with $33.99 EB and get over $70 in free product. Yay! Cant wait!

This will be my first cvs black Friday experience well actually I am going thur. My store opens at 8 but I'm not sure if I should get there early. Any tips from people who have done black Friday here? I have really planned out my trip bur afraid they will be out of everything. This is the only cvs in area.

Lacey, looks like you will have a very productive day!! I hope it all goes as planned (or better).

Anon, I have found them quite stocked for BF in the past. Remember to get rain checks on the regularly stocked items if they are out. The earlier the better, of course, for the best chance. It depends on how many couponers are in your area. Most shoppers will be going for the gift items--not the freebie health care items. :-)

Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for your posts and deal scenarios. I absolutely love your site. I have a question for the Black Friday deals. In some scenarios you use a MQ and some you don't. For eg. GUM Super micro Tip. There is actually a 0.55 printable, also for the Fiber One 90 cal brownie there is a 0.40Q in GM insert. Is there a reason for not using them? Thanks once again for all your hardwork.

Dipty, Sarah chooses the coupons to include that the greatest variety of readers will have. She also only includes one of each coupon--even if the limit is 2--since not everyone has access to multiples. She tries to make it so that beginners, especially, will be able to do it.

Those of us with more coupons can always add them in and grab a filler or have less out of pocket.

For the ones you specifically mention, the reason she left off the $.40 GM coupon was that it seemed to be regional from what we read--that most regions got the $1/2 which would not work. Also, the printable you mentioned was already gone when we looked for it.

I have a question about rain checks. Since this is a 3 day sale, would rain checks only be valid during that time? I've never done bf at cvs, so I appreciate any tips on how to get the most items.
Also, how early do you ladies head to your local cvs? I'm just wondering how popular this is in comparison to other stores.

How do you have more than 1 $5 off $25 coupon on your card? The ones I've been offered before the 1 I have for tomorrow have expired. Am I missing something?

Anonymous said...

the total on transaction 3 is more than 32.22

Anon, rainchecks are good forever and at any store. You can only get them on items normally stocked, tho, but most of the freebies are. Some CVS stores get wiped out quickly, some do not. Since it runs Thursday and Saturday, too, it spreads out the shoppers.

Anon, we posted earlier that many people have $5/25's in their CVS.com account. When they show up in there do not print them until you are ready to shop--they usually print to expire 4 days after printed. It will show in your account as expiring a certain day--but when printed it prints 4 days out. The exp. shown in the account is for how long it is available.

Hi!
I remember you posted something about the $4 CVS coupon not working for Breathe Right...but I can't find it now. Why is that? I just reread the coupon policy and I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to use my manufacturer coupon plus the CVS coupon for a sweeter deal? :)

Cheryl said...

REAL, this particular coupon says "cannot be combined with any other coupon." Usually it says CVS coupon, but this one says any other coupon.
