Share Your CVS Shopping Trip & Gift Card Challenge Balances for the Weekly Ad of 10/9/2011

Simply CVS Gift Card ChallengeDid you find any good deals  from the CVS Weekly Ad of 10/9 to purchase?  Are you taking the Simply CVS. CVS Gift Card Challenge?  If you blog about your shopping trip I'd love for you to put a link to your post (a link back would be appreciated, but is not necessary); and if you don't blog please leave a comment below.  I really enjoy seeing what others get and it is a great way to learn how to CVS.  I learned from reading and reading and reading what others did. I am still learning!

If you have a linky on your blog and are linking up here, add "link up" to
your title below so readers can link up at your blog, too.
PLEASE NOTE:  ONLY link up to your CVS shopping post directly, all others will be removed.  I have had readers mention too many links are not to CVS shopping posts.
If you are doing the challenge please note that in your link title below.

If you'd like to see some saavy shopping at other stores, or if you'd like to link up your CVS deals trips to other places here are a few to check out.  If you are a blogger and have a weekly savings linky and would like it added, leave a link to it in a comment below and I will add it.

The makeup items came out to be about $1 each--I'm starting to collect cheap makeup items for Christmas stocking stuffers :) There are a bunch of makeup deals coming up too, I'm going to give out the best stocking stuffers this year! Gotta love CVS to allow me to do that on a tight budget!

Also-I've learned from your site to hold on to scanner Qs b/c they always seem to pair well with an upcoming sale! Thank you!

Valencia, short and sweet but still a lot of savings! And don't you love how your extra bucks came out almost to the penny what you used & paid?

Anon, you had a great trip. I loooooove getting all the makeup throughout the year for stocking stuffers. Some years I have had to have two stockings for my oldest daughter as I have been able to get her so many goodies (like hair products, too) that she otherwise would never have. You will have as much fun giving them all as those receiving them will. so glad to have been a little help in the process. :-)

I did not find much I wanted in the ad today, so I used some rainchecks, and then I ended up stocking up for Halloween candy.

We do not get any trick or treaters in our area, but the kids do bring treat bags for school.

JR, Rainchecks really come in handy at times.
