Possible Unadvertised $1 Extra Buck on Clearance Right Guard Deodorant Week of 10/16

A Simply CVS reader left this comment on a post:  I read on Weusecoupons that the Right Guard Total Defense 5 antiperspirant/deodorant in the Silver Matrix scent was on clearance for $1.14 and producing a $1 ecb. Went to my store, the tag still read "get it while it lasts" but I checked the price at the red scanner and it ran up $1.19. I 'risked' it and bought it and sure enough it produced the $1 ecb making it only 19cents! If you're headed to CVS again this week you might want to check it out! :) Love these surprises that pop up during the week!!

The Right Guard body wash is a monthly deal for October so this may be connected to that--so may not work if you have done that.  I checked around for comments on this deal and see some shoppers are not finding it at $1.19 yet at their stores, but many are.  Also, no one seems to be saying what the limit is.  Be sure to scan it and see what it is ringing up at your store.  And as always, since it is not advertised, if the $1 extra buck does not print there is no way for the cashier to know to print you one.

Also, if you printed the $1/2 coupon when it was available this would be a good time to use it.

I bought this yesterday and on the bottom of my receipt it said "offer limit reached" so the limit is 1. Hope that helps!

I bought these earlier this week and didn't get an ECB BUT i had .50 off coupons so i paid .69 cents each, not a bad deal either way!

These were only $1.09 at my CVS. I bought two and used the $1.00/2 coupon so I got both for $1.18 or $0.59 each! AND I got the $1.00 EB. Great deal. Thanks for the post. :)
