Free $10 Gift Cards at CVS with $30 Purchase of Qualifying Items Week of 10/16

Here are the sale items included in the CVS Free Gift Card deal for the CVS weekly ad of 10/16. There will be a new deal each week thru 12/24--balances do not carry over from week to the next.  Gift cards vary by store so see what your store offers, but it is my understanding CVS gift cards are included. This means you could use the $10 you earn this week on next week’s deals—just like an extra buck. Be sure to look throughout the ad as well as at the front and back pages for all of the details for these products. The deals are often hidden throughout the ad.

With a BOGO sale, does the free item count towards the $30 or just the one you bought?

Cheryl said...

No, Megan, it will not count.

It says Limit 1 here, but looking at the scan, I think it is actually limit 5 of these cards! (YAY!) Do I have to spend all $30 in one transaction to get this, or can I do several? I ask because I want to get Pampers but they frequently run out of the size I need and I might need to go to 2 or 3 stores to get 3 packs.

Thanks for catching the limit typo--I had it correct on the other post and I actually copied part of this from the gas card promo and forgot to change the limit.

As far as I can remember the gas card one kept track for you. I have asked on a couponing board to be sure--as I can't quite remember this morning. I'll come back and comment when they reply.

Cheryl said...

They said, yes, it will track it for the full week.

I went this morning and it does not track it for you I spend $35 and my receipt says I need $30 to get this deal agian

What kind of gift card is it?? Can it be used at other stores other than CVS?

Cheryl said...

Leigh Anne, sometimes they track up to the $30. But if you buy more than $30 it does not keep track of that amount towards the second $30. Does that make sense? If you had purchased $30 and then $5 it should show the $5 towards the second card, but since it was all one transaction it does not save the overage for a second deal. you may want to call 800shopcvs and talk with them about it.

Momma Krazy, it says the cards vary by store. CVS gift cards are supposed to be included and then a few others are being reported as possibilities. Check with the store you shop at to be sure what yours offers.

This card thing is very confusing however once I redeemed my print out for the giftcard it did put the overage towards my next purchase. Also I have been to several stores but none of them got the CVS giftcards in (figures) but I got the AMEX card and will just use it at CVS. Thanks for all you do Cheryl!

Interesting info,Leigh Anne. No CVS cards--crazy. Do you remember what the exp. date was on the coupon that printed? Thinking maybe could hold it and wait for them to get the CVS gift cards in. Nice they have the Amex ones though.

I do not remember the date butI know it was mid November.
