CVS Email Alert: $5/25 Coupon Good Through 10/9

I received an email from CVS today with coupon good for $5 off $25 in store. It gave me the option to print it or attach it to my card (I prefer printing since when it is attached, it automatically uses it on the next transaction, not one you select). Remember, these always have some exemptions, so read the fine print closely. So check your inboxes and junk folders to see if you received one. Be sure to check out how to sign up for CVS e-mails if have not done so yet (although signing up does not guarantee you will get them). lSarahl
PS:  I, Cheryl, did not get one....yet....there is still hope :-).

Woohoo, I got the $5/$25, of course on a week that I don't need $25 worth of stuff, but I think I can find filler. I know this has been asked before, but if I'm only spending $25, can I use the $3/$10 makeup plus the $5/$25 in the sane transaction? Or do I have to spend $35 total?

Anon, read the fine print on each coupon carefully. They almost always say not to be combined with another $/$$. so the answer is usually no, you would need the $35.

Rainchecks are a great thing to pull out when you have the $5/25's and not much to buy. I hope you come up with a great plan.

Will I get both the $10 ECB -plus- this $5/$25 if I do the P&G deal where you get $10 ECB WYB $30 of included products?

Thanks

Coupon Clipper, I am just a little confused by the question so I will answer what I think you are asking and if that does not cover it ask again :-).

You may use a $5/25 on the $30 and still get the $10 extra bucks back. The $30 is the sub-total before you pay with whatever--coupons, extra bucks, $5/25's, cash, whatever.

Thanks, Cheryl. That's exactly what I was trying to find out. So if I buy:

5 Tides at $5.97 ea
1 Puff's at 99¢
=$30.85

and use
5 of the $2/1 Tide coupons
$5/25
$2 ECBs from yesterday

I should be able to use the 2 measly ECBs I have right now, pay out of pocket (or use ECBs) a total of $13.85, and end up with $10 new ECBs..

That would be pretty good deal, if it will work.

Sounds like it will work, CC.
