CVS Email Alert: Free batteries with $15 purchase 9/7 only

I received an email from CVS today with a printable, card specific, coupon for a free 10 pack of CVS AA batteries (up to $4.99) if I buy $15 on Wednesday, September 7. Remember, these always have some exemptions, so read the fine print closely. So check your inboxes and junk folders to see if you received one. Be sure to check out how to sign up for CVS e-mails if have not done so yet (although signing up does not guarantee you will get them). lSarahl

Is the $15 minimum purchase before coupons ($15 OOP) or after coupons?

Before coupons.

Wonderful! Thank you

Does $15 include the price of the $6 batteries, so I need to buy $9 of other stuff?

Great question, Lisa. I would say it is separate from the $15.

I recently lost my extracare card. I attached my new one to my email last week. They sent me this email, but how do I know if it's valid on my new card?

Anon, I don't know of any way for sure except to try it. I am not sure if these kind show up in your online account as I never receive them, but you might check there. And the only other option to try is to call 800shopcvs tomorrow and ask as I believe they can tell which emails you have received. Also, on calling them, if you haven't already done so, they can connect your old card to your new card and transfer all your old balances over to the new one--which may also attach this coupon to it.

I received 2 emails this week one for $5 off $30 (which I used) and another for $5 off $25 plus the free batteries I will be looking at others shopping trips to make a new list for tomorrow!

Wow, Leigh Anne, that's great.
