Heads Up ~ Some Shoppers Getting Scanner Coupons for Freebies Week of 8/28

I just wanted to give you the heads up that some shoppers are reporting receiving free product coupons at CVS this week:
  • Free always pantiliner 20 count (up to $1.77) 
  • FREE Cold Medicine (no specific brand) up to $6.00 
Be sure and scan your card after each time coupons print until it says no more coupons for today.  And remember, if they scan the coupon instead of entering the amount these almost always scan for the full amount even if the product costs less--so have a filler. Just found a $5 off of $30 in my Extra Care Card account online! This makes for extra savings!

I got a coupon from the machine for a FREE Reinventing Beauty magazine. I thought that was kind of nice to be able to get the CVS coupons for free. But they don't have any in the store! I haven't seen any of these for ages!

Nice one, Melissa, if they had them. Call 800shopcvs and tell them you got it but your store doesn't have them. I have read of others who they sent them to them in the mail. Not with this coupon, but just because their store didn't sell them.

Thanks for that info Cheryl. I too got 1 of those Reinventing Beauty coupons but none of my stores carry it. It was funny today when I asked the girl if they had any. She said, we don't sell those. Maybe you can try Walmart:-D

I got the free magazine which my store substituted people for since it was the same retail price. I also got $1 off a single pack of orbit gum they had several packages on sale $1.25. Free always pantiliners, $2 off nature made vitamins, $5 off purchase of $50 on oil of olay, old spice.

I called CVS customer service this morning about the Reinventing Beauty mag. The CSR was really sweet and really helpful. Apologized and then said the newest one would be out in September and that she would mail me one. Also asked for my location and said she would make sure that the district manager in my area was informed so we would start getting them here. Awesome!
