CVS Household Deals with Coupon Match-ups for the Weekly Ad of 8/28/2011

Below are the household items for the CVS ad from the week of 8/28 with the coupons I could find as of today.  If you see a weekly CVS deal you want to stock up on and wish for more coupons you can order them from a clipping service and usually receive them within 3 to 4 days depending on the area of the country.  But even without Sunday inserts there are often printable coupons available.  Coupons.comSmartSource, Coupon Network and Redplum  have great printables for household, grocery and health & beauty items that are
updated off and on throughout the month.

Thanks goes to Elizabeth for typing up the list from the ad preview.

You can certainly tell the P&G insert is coming out 8/28.

Limits on non-extra buck items are per transaction, tho managers reserve the right to limit each customer to the limit if they choose. On buy one get one free deals the register will recognize 12 items as sale priced on a limit of 6 but some stores will limit customers to 6 total.

Remember, printables can reach their print limit at which time they will no longer be available.  CVS Deals Disclaimer

Hello. I was shopping the other day and had an overage for a product, the cashier wouldnt take my coupon because it was over the purchase price.
I see alot of posts about getting an overage and having a filler item. So how does this work? Did the cashier just not know you could do that?

From my understanding, when a manufacturer coupon exceeds the cost the register beeps and the cashier has the option of accepting it for full value allowing the overage (which I have found is rare) or for reducing it down to the cost of the item--what my store does. CVS coupons on the other hand almost ALWAYS scan at the full price, but some cashiers will look at each and key in the amount of the product instead of allowing overage.

She should have taken one way or the other. I would call 800shopcvs, not mention the store as they can be hard on those they think are not giving great customer service, and explain exactly how much the product was, how much the coupon and what should have been done. Then if you face it again you can say customer service told you thus and so. Get the name of the C.S. rep, too, and the date you call. I did this with several things in the past--and with the right attitude an informed customer is well received. I would just say something about I had kept reading online that customers could do such and so so I called and ask and they said yes.
