CVS Email Alert: $5/40 Coupon Good Through 8/14

I received an email from CVS with a coupon for $5 off $40 good through Sunday the 14th of August. This one was different than ones I’ve received in the past in two ways. First: it is the first time I’ve had the option to attach to my card or print. Second: it was $5 off $40 instead of $4 off $20 or $5 off $25, but it still may come in handy.

Remember, these always have some exemptions, so read the fine print closely. So check your inboxes and junk folders. Be sure to check out how to sign up for CVS e-mails if have not done so yet (although signing up does not guarantee you will get them). lSarahl

I got a $5/$25 today! I also saw the option to send to card, but I chose to print it instead. ~april

I got one for $5/$25 and it was the first time I got the option to add it to my card as well. I haven't done my CVSing for the week, so I'm going to try this tonight :)

I got one that was just $3 of anything. It said it was $3 ECB.

just wanted to share this with you since I have gotten so many great deals on this site. Next Tuesday August 16th Saveology.com will be offering CVS gift cards 50% off face value.

I have never bought anything from this site before so I'm not sure how great it is, but could be worth the risk :)

here is where I found the deal:

Do not send. It is better to print it.

Thanks, Living Leaner, I'll look into it.

I got the $5 off $25 in the email and my cvs.com account had a $5 off $30.

Unfortunately I tried to print the cvs.com one on Monday and it changed the expiration date from 8/14 to 8/12!

I'm 100% positive now, that if you do anything to the coupon more than 4 days before when you actually intend to use it, it will change the expiration date. (the cvs.com one)
I remember last time I printed it on a Saturday and it extended the expiration date until Tues when originally it said Sunday.

Thanks, Magda, for that info. Don't you wish CVSing was easy? Crazy things!

I received a $5/20 in my email today also. At first I thought it would be convenient to add to my card but I eventually decided to print it when I read the fine print "will be applied to next purchase." I want to decide when I'll use the coupon not just the next time I'm in the store. Just an FYI for those of you getting the email coupons.
