Countdown to Returning to CVS Shopping ~ T-Minus 11 Days
I shared a couple of weeks ago that I was going to take a four week sabbatical from CVS shopping. I have not gone since I wrote that post on August 8. I am counting down the days to my first shop planned for the CVS ad of 9/4--here's hoping for some fun deals. I usually go on Monday afternoon after most of the truck has been stocked, so I am counting down to September 5.
While I was off I worked hard at building up my Swag Bucks** balance and I will have a $50 CVS gift card ready to go when I head back from cashing in. I am trying to decide if I want to do a $50 CVS gift card challenge and keep track of how far I can make it go. I am working on a game plan of starting CVSing fresh with no extra bucks. I'll post again as the day draws closer, but for now know that I am shopping with you all at heart and strategizing how to jump back in the game!

Hello :)
I hope you do not have to pass by one everyday. That would be the hardest part for me!!! I sometimes just pop in to scan my card...lol I taught a young lady & her grandmother that you should scan your card twice to get even more coupons ;) Well there has not been much for me to jump up & down about the last couple of weeks :/ All the free item coupons that have printed out are always out of stock :'( Thank goodness my CVS excepts expired CVS coupons ;D
Well stick in there :) and what sorts of SWAGBUCKS things are you doing to get the most points?
Hi, Teresa. You sound like me talking to other customers on how to save more. I found out you can submit poll ideas for the daily poll at SB and get 100 points if they use it and I had one used last week, a nice amount to get (I have only submitted three and two were this week). I also have focused on the T.V.--keeping it running in a split screen while I work and I can get thru quite a few multitasking like that when I am on the computer a lot. I also have done more offers than I have in the past and watched videos. I mostly am just focusing doing all those things I normally don't take the time for that they offer.
I'll be looking forward to your shopping trips. I always get such inspiration from them!
Wow! A $50 gift card... you may be at it a good long while if you decide to take the Challenge on. :-)
That tax can be a killer though, Pat. A couple of years back I could have kept it going almost indefinitely. I also am thinking about getting more grocery items though that will eat it up, too, as they rarely are fantastic deals. I am excited and nervous all at once to get started again.
I think a $50 gift card challenge sounds awesome. Every now and then I take a break from couponing when I start to feel a little burnt out. I always enjoy my break, and find my self more energized when I start up again. :)
Candice, I am hoping for just that--to be energized. Hope I haven't forgotten all I knew :-).
