Boost and CVS Free Gas Card Shopping for My Mom Week of 7/31 ~ Saved $43

Sarah and I joined forces this week to get a great deal on Boost for my Mom (after last summer when she practically had to live on this for a few months it has become a comfort to her and she drinks one a day).  Sarah had a $5/25 that was expiring Monday and I had three $2/1 coupons I printed off a while back along with $1.50/1 from Sunday's paper and $1.50/1 peelie from an earlier package I had purchased
for her (I didn't need it at the time as I had a coupon for it).   It was on the gas card deal, so not only did she get a great deal on the Boost but received a free gas card on top of it. Here is the breakdown:

Purchased:  5 -- Boost @ $5.99 ea (reg. $9.79/ea)

Used:  3 -- $2/1 Manufacturer Printable Coupons (I forget where I got these)
           2 -- $1.50/1 Manufacturer Coupons (1 peelie, 1 from Sunday's paper)
           1 -- $5/25 CVS Scanner Coupon

Paid:  $15.95 + tax

Received:  $10 Gas Card

Total Value:  $58.95

Not a free transaction, but nowhere else could we have gotten five six-packs of Boost and $10 in gas for $15.95.  So it was fun to combine forces and coupons to get a great deal!  Later in the week we will do our deal shopping :-).
