Came Home to Destruction!

Hi!  We just came home from our four day anniversary trip to the mountains and found downed trees, torn siding and roof damage from storms and my daughter with a severe shoulder injury from trying to pull my mom thru the high wind into our house as the huge tree limbs were toppling around them.  Needless to say, I will be busy for the next couple of days and I have medical tests myself this week.  I hope to catch up at least by Saturday with all the match-up posts, but I must beg your patience and understanding as I will not be here much to answer questions and post deals.  Are vacations really worth it?? Yes, and there is so much to be thankful for though things look bad--they could have been muuuuuuch worse.

so sorry for this hard time you are walking through. Here's a thought for you today: "What if Your blessings come through raindrops, what if Your healing comes through tears, What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know Your near, and what if trials of this life are Your mearcies in disquise." Praying for you...

Wow, Cheryl it sounds like quite a homecoming. I hope you will get everything worked out this week, and that it does not take away the energy you got from your relaxing trip to the mountains.

I didn't comment when I first read this, but I thought about you when a storm came through here late last night. Hope everything is going ok!

I hope everything is going in the best direction it can for you. Just keep smiling! You'll be amazed at what that simple action can do at times.
