$5 & $ 10 Cash Scenarios for CVS Shopping for Weekly Ad of 4/3 ($43 & $62 Total Merch.)

Below are deal scenarios for the CVS ad for the week of 4/3 for shoppers just starting their CVS shopping adventure or who do not have any or many extra bucks on hand and do not want to spend much cash.  There are scenarios for under $5 out of pocket cash and $10 out of pocket cash.

Beginning CVSing and building up extra bucks so one can keep them rolling week after week takes time.  By investing just $5 or $10 a week for the first month to six weeks to get the extra bucks built up would
allow a shopper then to keep rolling that $20 to $50 of extra bucks each week into new extra bucks.  It is like spending the same money over and over again.

Thanks to Sarah and Jamie for sharing the following with us.

Editing NOTE:  I am sorry, from the type up of the $1 and under I thought the Mento's was the gum, from the ad I have in hand now I see it must be the mints so the coupons below will not work.  I am sorry for the confusion--Elizabeth types the deals, I find the coupons and Sarah does this post, so there can be confusion from one to the next.

Wow! That's some good savings this week! My scenarios have me paying $1.34 plus (post-coupon) tax and saving $97.68! Of course, I started with quite a few ECB. And I'll still come out with 13 ECB when I'm through :) I LOVE CVS and SimplyCVS!

Sounds great, Kristen. Hope they are well stocked for you.

Woohooo cant wait for the deals!!!

For the $5 Scenario Transaction 1, the math is incorrect. $4 ECB + $1.98 ECB = $5.98 ECB. That's how much I received this morning.

I did the $10 scenario and it worked beautiful!!! I had ecb's to begin with so almost nothing out of pocket.. thanks...

Oh, with transaction #2 on the $5 scenario, look for $1/2 Sierra Mist peelies on the item. I've found these at CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, and local Grocery Stores, os watch out for them! ;)

Oops, Mike, thanks--we even had another person proof this for us and they missed it, too.

Hi there I just want wanted to say I love your website so much and these scnario examples have helped me so much! Anyways the gum floss coupons are no longer available so is there any other place i can get the coupons or a different item i can substitute that also give ECBs back or something of the same value? Thanks!!

That's the problem with these hot printables for CVS deals--they go quickly. No, I can't think of any other. You will just have to put out the extra $1.50 in cash--sorry.

I just got back from CVS the manager was not taking any of my coupons i wanted to do the toothbrush deal and I had the 2.00 off and the b1g1 she said you canot use the b1g1 when you are going to be paying .99 and receiving a 2.99 toothbrush i just told her that was not what the policy said when i showed it to her she said anyone could have written this I was really mad so I left the store with nothing.I have tried calling corporate and no answer. Please help

Oh, Betty, this can be sooooo frustrating. They often make up things as they go when they don't understand the concept and the policies. Unfortunately CVS does not have a written policy which makes it harder.

Do call customer service about it. They will want to know. I think they are only open now from like 8 to 8 eastern time or something like that. No one has mentioned running into this in a long time, but it does happen. I wrote this post because of times like this:

I am so sorry this happened, let me know how you make out with CS.
