CVS Buy One Get One Free Deals from Weekly Ad of 1/9

Here are the buy one get one free deals from the CVS weekly ad of 1/9 with coupon match-ups. Not too many this week.  It has always been CVS policy to accept one coupon per item, including buy one get one free sales. I have a question.......
If I were to do the B1G1 flex a min offer can I use 2 $5 off coupons which I have even though one item is free from CVS anyway?

Yes, Baa, you should be able to. Here is a quote from an email from CVS : " For example, if Revlon lipstick is on sale at our store for BOGO, you can use two $1.00 off Revlon lipstick manufacturer coupons. "

Here is a post with a copy of the policy: .

And if you had a CVS coupon, too, you could use it on top of the manufacturer coupons.

How does a buy one get one free coupon work with a CVS sale that is buy one get one 50% off. Do you end up paying for one full priced item?

Cheryl @ Simply Shoeboxes said...

Anon, they are to take a b1g1 coupon on two and you get both free. Click on the link in the top of this post that says "one coupon per item, including buy one get one free sales" and you will see an explanation in CVS's own words. they do not have a written policy anywhere to see. And many shoppers do run into opposition with cashiers, but if you have any problems you can always check with 800shopcvs. I called recently and they confirmed this policy is still in place: buy two, use a b1g1 coupon get them both free.

Am I able to apply the promotion b1g50% on sale items such as 50% or 75% makeup items? And how does sale items apply to the beauty rewards: 10% and $5 rebate with 50 purchase? Thanks for your time.

Clearance items would not be included in the buy one get one 50% off, they will ring up as marked. The Beauty Rewards thing is so new that I am not familiar with the ins and out of it yet. But the 10% shopping pass is a one time coupon and it probably (like all the other % off CVS coupons) excludes all sale items. Now the $5 extra bucks for $50 purchase part I would think would include any and all sales, but normal extra buck deals do not produce extra bucks on clearance items, so it very well may not either--but I do not know this. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I was also wondering the answer to the question posted by "Anonymous" above. "How does a buy one get one free coupon work with a CVS sale that is buy one get one 50% off. Do you end up paying for one full priced item?" I see your explanation for the BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale but what about a BOGO coupon with a BOG50% off?

Liz, most all b1g1 coupons state the lesser value product is what is free. So on a buy one get on 50% off sale they should take the 50% priced one off so it would make no difference if it was on sale or not as you would pay the same out of pocket.
