Share Your CVS Shopping Trip for the Week of 12/26/2010

Well, this is our last chance for shopping CVS deals this year.  Did you find any good deals at CVS the Week of 12/26 to purchase?  If you blog about your shopping trip I'd love for you to put a link to your post; and if you don't blog please leave a comment below.  I really enjoy seeing what others get and it is a great way to learn how to CVS.  I learned from
reading and reading and reading what others did. I am still learning and love to see the deals readers get!

Oh, Bryana, I know! I used to not have to pay tax, and now it is so discouraging. Thanks for linking up.

I got 3 Excedrin (2 free with coupons), 3 Honest Teas, a Christmas wreath and 2 Christmas boxes (50% off), 2 Colgates, 1 Tone body wash, and milk. Used $42.20 in coupons and ECBs and paid (drumroll please) 0.22 OOP, and got 8 ECB back! In my state we only pay tax on after coupon total so my tax was only .01.

Oh, CJ, that is so sweet on the tax. I miss that. Grrrrrreat job!!!

I tried to purchase 2 Pantene products using the $3/2 coupon from this week's P&G and expecting my ECBs back. The ECBs didn't print. The bottom of the receipt said that I had already reached the limit on this deal. The cashier said that this sale was a continuation from last week's deal and that I'd already earned my ECBs. Anyone else heard of this? Why didn't it say that anywhere on the ad? Frustrating!

I did read of one person running into this problem and they called customer service and they were going to issue the bucks to them. I believe, but I can't check right now, that the numbers for the deals were different in the paper--or the products were different this week. I didn't do it so I am not sure of the details--perhaps another reader can tell us.

Cheryl, my post has some other shopping mixed in (sorry), but the first two are CVS.

About the Pantene, I bought 1 set last week before we left town, and i bought another set today, and the bottom of my receipt says I bought 4 and offer limit reached, so it looks like it was rolling over from last week, but that is the first I've ever heard of that happening! Hope that helps!

That's fine, Amanda, as long as there is CVS in there for the readers to see.

Very strange about the Pantene. I hope it isn't something we will be seeing often.

me too. That's kinda tricky if you ask me. =/
