Share Your CVS Shopping Trip for the Week of 12/12/2010

What good deals did you find at CVS the Week of 12/12 to purchase?  If you blog about your shopping trip add  a link to your post below; and if you don't blog please leave a comment below.  I really enjoy seeing what others get and it is a great way to learn how to CVS.  I learned from reading and reading and
reading what others did on their shopping for CVS deals. I am still learning!

The cranberry sauce is the only thing I see that I need or want this week!

Thanks for the tip about the Schick disposable razors. I was able to get the coupons to use and the 10 ECBs. I can't find my receipt but I know it was a good trip because I also had 2 coupons for the free nuts and also 2 coupons for $1 off when you buy the nuts and a coke.

Total was $8.50 (less than I had even calculated!) and I had $10 ECB so I threw in a pack of gum at the last minute...

Spent $0.00, got $10 ECB.
Receipt shows my savings were $55!!
Love love love CVS! :)

Missy, that is the only thing I remember off the top of my head, too. LOL But I will look closer and find something--I hope :-). I was actually thinking of taking the week off.

Dot, that sounds like a fantastic trip. Those razor coupons are great and especially since my daughter found they are the only ones she can use for some reason.

There is a fairly simple Glade deal if you have the B1G1 coupon (ex. 12/18, I think) or can print a copy from Right@Home [http://www.rightathome.com/Offers/Pages/default.aspx].
Glade Reed Diffusers $6 each... $3 ECBs wyb $10 of products
Buy 2 Reed Diffusers
Use B1G1 Glade Reed Diffuser (exp. 12/18 or printable)
Use $3/2 Glade Fragrance Collection (printable from Right@Home)
Total: $3 out of pocket, $3 ECBs...
FREE after ECBs!

I bought 4... and paid $1.36 out of pocket (used previous ECBs)!

Nice, K. There are coupons match-ups in the extra buck deals posts and links for other ones in the $10 Scenario post, too. A couple different options for that glades deal.

I stopped by CVS to pick up some cranberry sauce (4 x .69)and ended up buying myself a nice warm pink hoody sweatshirt ($7.99)and a gingerbread house. It is suppose to be in the teens or twentys here in central florida tonight so I will bundle up and make a gingerbread house! I ended up with the bigger more expensive house but thats ok ($7.49 instead of $4.99). I spent $9.77 oop and $8.99 ecb and got back $1 for using the green bag tag. I didn't use any coupons! That's a first.

I had some ECBs to use up before vacation so I did an easy transaction of 4 Glade candles, Advil and a carton of Dew. Used $4 in coupons and $14 in ECBs for $0 OOP, and got $3 ECBs back.

Sounds like a good use for the ECB's, CJ. Have a great vacation.

Great example of what can be done without extra bucks, Margaritagirl. Where did you find the 4 count Advil? I am hoping when I get to CVS this week I get that q.

margaritagirl said...

It was in the travel section for 99 cents at my 24 hour CVS. I find that my 24 hour CVS stores have a better trial size section

Thanks, Margaritagirl. My CVS is tiny so it may not have them.
