CVS Shopper, Have You Lost an Extra Buck? All May Not Be Lost

A Simply CVS reader just emailed to share a great experience she had with CVS customer service.  She had accidentally thrown her receipt away that had $15 in extra bucks attached.  Ouch!  Every CVSer's nightmare.  The cashier recommended she call 800shopcvs and see if they could help her.  They offered as a one time courtesy to reissue her $15
in extra bucks and it will print in 48 hours at the machine or on the end of her receipt.  I had heard of them doing this once per customer.  So if you loose an extra buck call customer service and see if they will issue it for you.  Thanks, Erin, for the reminder and for sharing your great experience with CVS customer service.

That's good to know. I lost a $5 ECB and emailed them--but they said there was nothing they could do. Guess if it happens again I will call them.

Yes, JoAnna, I'd try a call. Often when they hear the customer I think it helps and you can explain you understand it is a one time courtesy to the customer.
