Scenarios for CVS Shopping with Little Out Of Pocket Cash and No Beginning Extra Bucks Week of 10/24

Below are deal scenarios for the CVS ad for the week of 10/24 for shoppers just starting their CVS shopping adventure or who do not have any or many extra bucks on hand and do not want to spend much cash.  There are two scenarios for under $5 out of pocket cash and one for $10 out of pocket cash.  Beginning CVSing and building up extra bucks so one can keep them rolling week after week takes time.  By investing just $5 or $10 a week for the first month to six weeks to get the extra bucks built up would allow a shopper then to keep rolling that $20 to $50
of extra bucks each week into new extra bucks.  It is like spending the same money over and over again.  Thanks to Sarah and Jamie for sharing the following with us.

Five Dollars Scenario by Sarah:

You could purchase $16.94 worth of merchandise with $4.99 out of pocket cash + tax and have $5 in extra bucks left to spend on other sale/extra buck items this week (see all the deals here), use towards a necessity or save for next week’s CVS ad:  rolling them into more extra buck items so you have more extra bucks to spend without putting out the cash.

Transaction:

Buy Bayer Contour $14.99
use $10.00/1 coupon from 8/8 RP
Colgate Total $1.95 (you can use one CVS and one Manufacturer coupon per tube)
use $1/1 CVS Coupon from CVS Diabetes Advantage Email
and $1/1 Colgate Total from SS 10/10

TOTAL CASH:  $4.99 + tax
EXTRA BUCKS RECEIVED:  $ 5
MERCHANDISE VALUE:  $16.94 sale priced

You can then either save your extra bucks for next week’s extra buck deals (when you could get a Schick Hydro 3 or 5 Razor 1ct, or cartridges 3-4ct. $8.99 for a dollar after $4 ECB and a $4 Schick Hydro 3 Razor coupon from SS 10/3 or $4 Schick Hydro 5 Razor coupon from SS 10/3) or you could use those $5 extra bucks for some the deals and coupons this week—check out the coupon match-ups for Extra Bucks, Groceries, Household or Dollar and Under Deals.

Thanks for your post. I can't seem to find the rebate for the aveeno. Can you please tell me where to find it?

Thanks again

Well, Christine, I saw it earlier and now I don't see it. It actually was a J&J rebate, not just Aveeno, so that may be confusing. But it was just like one of the coupons and you clicked it to print it. I looked in two different zip codes and didn't see it just now--it may have reached the limit they would allow to print. I'll check a couple more zips and if I see it I'll report. Otherwise I guess it is gone.
