CVS Shopping for Donations ~ Week of 8/8

Last year CVS offered a lot of different school supplies that were free after extra bucks.  This year they had one or two things early on and that was the end of it.  With the $1/2 Caliber stationery coupons printing last week and this, I am finally able to get some free school supplies for donating.  You can see a post about what you can get free
with these coupons here.  They will print every day this week (wish I could go every day).

So this week I got the following for donating (the school supplies will be held until I get more and there are several places that take them in our county and last year I sent a bunch with our kids for church who went to Guatemala and took supplies to the kids there; the Dulcolax will be saved in a box to fill with medical supplies for a local group that does medical trips to impoverished places around the world).
  • 1--Dulcolax
  • 2--24 pk Pencils
  • 4--Pronged Report Covers
  • 4--Pocket Report Covers
Do you use your CVS shopping for donations, too?  I'd love to hear about it.  If you blog about it, Southern Illinois Money Savers has a linky you can add your donation posts to and also they are having a $10 Target gift card giveaway for encouraging donations. All you have to do to enter is to let them know what you donated--you don't have to blog about it.  I stumbled upon this great site and their donation posts a week or so ago after I started sharing with you all what I get on my CVS trips to donate.  You can also enter the same donation giveaway at Spectacular Savings.

You are the kindest person! You are always saving items for donation boxes, various church groups, giving away things to the employees at CVS and giving things to family. You are a hero to so many. I can't wait to make my donations to the Food Bank and A Grace Place (local day center for mentally and/or physically handicapped adults). Thanks for all that you do!

How sweet, SuzyQpon, thanks for the encouraging words. We have an adult day care that we donate to, also. We used to go and do little shows and things for them and help serve lunches when my girls were little. I hope Simply CVS helps many be able to share with others, too, it has helped us be able to give so much more than we ever could.

Thanks, I'll stop over as soon as I get this week's post done. Just got back from CVS so it will probably tomorrow before I have the donation post up but will stop in then.
