CVS Shopping Trip 6/13 ~ Saved $46.01 spent $ .30 and Increased Extra Bucks by $3

I rarely shop on Sunday, but my schedule this week dictated getting my shopping in at CVS earlier than normal. I had read that the Men's Body wash deal limit was increased to two from one and I still had a $4/2 coupon so basically paid $4 and got $8 extra bucks.  That was my excitement for the day.  Here is what I got and how I paid for it:

Saved:   $46.01
Spent:   $.30
Extra bucks Used:  $15.00
Extra bucks received:  $18.00 (so I came home with $2.70 more CVS spending power)

I used a $5/15 CVS coupon on the following:

1 -- Tropicana OJ @ $2.99 [used a free coupon ($2.99) I got from the Tripicana reward program]
3 -- Cheerios @ 3/$10 receive $4 extra bucks [used 3 $.75/1 manufacturer coupons]
2 -- Gillette Body washes @ $4.00 get $4 extra bucks each [used a $4/2 manufacturer coupon]
1 -- Colgate Clinical @ $3.99 get $2 extra bucks [used a $1/1 manufacturer coupon]
1 -- Hydro 5 Razor @ $8.97 get $4 extra bucks [used a $5/1 manufacturer coupon]

You can find all these deals and more on the current CVS deals post page here and look over the weekly ad and remember you can check the We Use Coupons or the Hot Coupon World coupon databases for coupons for items I don't have any listed for.  Also, read how I have learned (from others) how to "stack" the coupons in the right order to pay less tax here.  Some states have to pay tax on extra buck usage and some don't so it may or may not affect your CVS shopping.

How did you do this week? Did you find some great CVS Deals?

wow! I'm happy about the body wash, but I bought the local newspaper and did not find the hydro razor coupon :(

I used the buy 2 Old Spice body wash, get body spray free and also the BOGO body wash coupons. 2 Body washes and 1 body spray = Oop $4.00, got back $8.00 extra bucks. YEAH!

I wasn't sure if it would allow me use to both coupons. I just made sure to hand over the free body spray coupon first, then the BOGO body wash. No problem.

I love my CVS!!

I had read some weren't getting the $5 coupons, they got $4, but I did not read they didn't get them :-(.

Charlene, I had one of those and wondered if I could that. That is one thing I have never really done, using bogo and another coupon. I almost tried today but wasn't really in the mood. :-). Glad it worked for you. I love mine, too.

Oh, I forgot, we got the $4 coupon in our paper for the razor, not the $5 one!

I'm glad to see others are not getting that $5.00 of 1 coupon. I was beginning to think my paper boy like high dollar coupons. I didn't see it in May either. Ugh!

Thanks for all the hard work on this blog, you save me TONS!!!

Sorry, Kimberly, you didn't get it either. It can be very disappointing to miss out on some of the great deals. You are very welcome, and thank you for mentioning that the blog helps you. I often wonder if people are really helped or if I am the only one seeing it sometimes. Hearing it is helping keeps me going. And I am glad you are saving a lot.

Way to go, Mariana, I bought mine one day too soon but I may chance the stamp to see if they accept it. The great deals at CVS are never ending--some weeks I think, this is going to be boring and yet they seldom are. Thanks for sharing with us.

I love cvs! At the begginning of the week I dropped by to grab 2 gillette body washes. I used a BOGO and a $3 off $6 body wash coupon. So I got $8 ECB after only spending $1.79 oop. So they paid me $6.21 for stopping by and grabbing a couple of body washes.

Then last night I went back and got:
(1)pack of Huggies on sale for $8.49 (used $3 coupon)

(4) packs of paper towels 2/$1
(1) John Freida shampoo on sale for $5 (used $5 off 2 mfg)
(1) John Freida conditioner on sale for $5 (used $3 off mfg)
(1) oven cleaner ($1 section)
(2) packs of q tips ($1 section)
(1) CVS brand tampons 0n sale for $2.50 (used $2 off CVS brand tampons)
Got 2 $1 toys for the kids
Split this into 2 transactions used 2 $3 off $15
On hubbys card did the old spice deal. Used BOGO body wash and $1 off 2.

Only paid $5.53 oop for all 3 transactions and left with $8 ECB's!!!!!!!

So they essentially paid me $2.47 to buy all of these great things that we need!!

I love CVS!!!!

I love seeing what others get, Angie, thanks for sharing. It still never ceases to amaze me. Like you said you get paid and lots of stuff on top of that. Some days I just want to tell everyone they can do this, too. Thanks again for sharing.
