Contacting Companies to Receive Coupons thru Snail Mail

There are many manufacturers who will send out coupons to consumers when contacted thru mail, phone or email.  Many people have received outstanding coupons in the mail after complimenting a company on one of their products.  These companies will often send out coupons for free products along with cents off coupons when contacted with a complaint, compliment or just inquiry. So if you'd like to try a new product
or have a favorite you'd love to save some money on let the manufacturer know. Some will send coupons upon request, too.  You can find most contact information on the product or on their website.  I often look over the future CVS ads and if I see something I know I want to buy I'll contact the company in hopes of receiving coupons in time for the sale.

Hi Cheryl, just wondered if you email them or write a letter to send by mail? Do you usually get something from each company you write to? This sounds like a pretty simple way to get good coupons! Thanks for the tip!

Sara, I almost always use email thru their contact form on their websites. Sometimes I call. I probably get something 80% of the time--even if they say they don't have any. I have often gotten free coupons, too. I actually have really slacked off since I've been doing Simply CVS as my time on the computer is spent mostly preparing this site. :-).

Oh, I love this! I do this ALL the time!!! It is one of the best ways to get really awesome free stuff! On one trip i got over 80 dollars worth of stuff for only 2.69 (and that was because I was buying ketchup and the tax!) I once contacted AMO last year (makers of amo complete) and they gave me a coupon for FREE lens solution (made it an awesome MM @ cvs!) I don't know if they would do the same thing this year! HTH! :)

Cheryl,

I did this a few weeks ago after you had suggested it awhile back. I emailed the company about an issue I had with the sprayer on their bottle. I asked if they had suggestions to fix it. They emailed and asked for some codes off the bottle, then I didn't hear from then again. About a week later a free coupon came in the mail. It was great! I bought the same item and the sprayer works on this one. I'll use it and refill with the old bottle once it is gone.

Thanks!

Great to hear, MSUweather, that is what has happened to me in the past, also. I don't hear but then something shows up in the mail.

It's funny that you should include a post about this today. I just emailed the Marie Callender's website today about the great Classico Rigatoni dish offered, and I received an email that I would be receiving some coupons in the mail. I do so enjoy giving compliments when they are deserved.

I do, too, Tawanda, so many complaints are issued that I think compliments are the order of the day! Looks like you will be enjoying some more Rigatoni soon.

Funny you post this now. I just got 4 coupons from Iams in the mail 2 $5 coupons and 2 $3 coupons!!! I emailed them b/c I bought 2 bags of dog food at Target recently and they were labeled as having coupons inside - the Qs were already expired. I told them that I love their product - feed my dog nothing else but that the coupons really help out my budget. They sent a nice letter and the coupons!
