$5 & $10 CVS Scenarios for the Weekly Ad of May 29, 2016

Below are deal scenarios for the CVS ad for the week of 5/29/16.   Lots of oral care items this week! These are great for shoppers just starting their CVS shopping adventure or who do not have any or many extra bucks on hand and do not want to spend much cash. There are scenarios for $5 out of pocket cash and $10 out of pocket cash.

You can save the extra bucks left from the last transaction for next week’s extra buck deals and have even less out of pocket then, or you could use them towards some of the CVS deals this week or other sale items from this week's CVS Weekly Ad.

Five Dollars CVS Scenario:
TOTAL CASH:  $4.52 + tax (or $3.52 + tax if you saved your $1 ECB from last week’s scenario)
EXTRA BUCKS REMAINING:  $3
MERCHANDISE VALUE:  $11.77 sale priced

CVS Extra Buck Deals & the Best to Roll Current ECB's Onto for the Weekly Ad of 5/29/2016 with Coupon Match-ups

 http://www.simplycvsshopping.com/search/label/rolling%20extra%20bucks

Here are the coupon match ups for extra buck deals for the CVS weekly ad of May 29, 2016.  There's a regional candy deal this week-yummy!

These include the best CVS extra buck deals for rolling.  Each week I make a list of the extra buck deals that will use up the least extra bucks which makes them the best to roll current extra bucks onto.  These will usually be the simplest deals, not ones where you need several of one coupon to make it work.  They are listed in least ECBs "lost" to the most "lost" up to loosing $5 extra bucks.  They are not listed necessarily in order of the least extra bucks needed to do the transaction.

Some of the deals will be better if you have more than one of each coupon--but I always include just one insert or two printable coupons in my scenarios since that is what is available to the greatest number of readers.

(Clarification:  "Lost" is used to note how many extra bucks you will use up

Free Toothpaste at CVS Week of May 22 ~ $25 CVS Gift Card Challenge Week #7

My CVS shopping trip this week for my $25 CVS Gift Card Challenge with my free $25 CVS gift card from Swagbucks was very small.  I just picked up two tubes of toothpaste.  They came out free after extra bucks and coupons and there was even no tax charged because the extra bucks and coupons were both CVS which reduces the taxed amount and in this case it was totally wiped out.

Transaction:

Purchased 2 - Colgate Total @ $3.49 each = $7.98 [Buy 1 and receive $2.50 extra bucks limit 2]
Used 1 - CVS Scanner Coupon:  $2/2 Colgate
Used 1 - $5.00 Extra Buck

Cash Paid:  $0

Amount Saved:  $ 7.98  or 100%

Extra Bucks Used:  $5

Extra Bucks Received: $5

This is shopping trip #7 in my CVS gift card challenge.  My $25 CVS gift card earned on Swagbucks plus extra bucks and cash back earned on purchases made with it total  $42.19 worth of CVS spending power and I've purchased $172 worth of products.  See the spread sheet below for details of my current totals.
